High-speed mobile data communications service for business cutomers: IIJ Mobile
IIJ Mobile is a new high-speed mobile data communications service that IIJ provides as an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) for corporate customers. Customers can select from either IIJ Mobile Service Type D, which uses the NTT DoCoMo FOMA high-speed network, or IIJ Mobile Service Type E, which uses the EMOBILE service that at 21.6 Mbps (downlink) is the fastest of its kind in Japan.
While the number of people who want to make use of high-speed mobile communications for business is increasing, a number of security concerns exist, such as the risk of information leaks and virus infections, in addition to compliance requirements.
In answer to the requirements and concerns of corporate customers, IIJ Mobile provides a mobile solution that meets the needs of businesses by offering high-speed mobile data communications while ensuring security.
Provides a High-Speed Mobile Environment Anywhere in Japan
A high-speed mobile Internet access environment utilizing the 3G/HSDPA network, which can be accessed throughout Japan (HSUPA is available in a few spot).
Usable in the Same Way Overseas
Through international roaming support, the network can be accessed during business trips overseas in the same way as in Japan (Option).
No Protocol Limitations
There are no limitations on the protocols used for any of the plans. Additionally, no specialized software is required.
Unique MVNO Fee Plans
Customers can select a fee plan that best fits their needs from the fixed-rate plan, or the packet share plan.
The fixed-rate plan provides a set price for peace of mind, while the packet share plan is ideal when data transmission volumes for each user are low. Selecting the right plan gives high cost performance with little waste.
A Secure Mobile Communications Environment Essential for Corporations
This service provides the stable, secure access environment that business demands, with terminal authentication for corporate network access, restricted remote IP address access, and connection via VPN or closed network.

(Japanese Text Only).
* The supported area corresponds with the NTT DoCoMo FOMA service area. The area supporting the maximum downlink of 7.2 Mbps corresponds with the NTT DoCoMo FOMA HIGH-SPEED service area.
